Ingredients Required For TANDOORI CHICKEN

  • 1/2 kg chicken
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 3/4 tbsp of ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi
  • 1 1/2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

For Clolour

  • 1 tsp of red chilli
  • 1 tbsp oil

For Grilling

  • 1 tbsp oil

Creating 5-STAR Tandoori Chicken Recipe

Marinating of TANDOORI CHICKEN

  1. Take a mixing bowl. and add thick yogurt or a hung curd. If you don'y have yogurt, then line a thin cloth over a sieve. Now put 1 cup of curd to the bowl. Wring it gently and strain off the water. Make a knot and hang it for about 45-50 minutes. Then use about half a cup for this recipe.
  2. Next add in red chili powder,ginger garlic paste,salt,turmeric, garam masala, pepper powder, coriander powder and kasuri methi.
  3. And then pour lemon juice and oil as well
  4. Mix everything untill it becomes like a thick paste. Taste it and add chili powder and salt if required.
  5. Make deep gashes over the chicken and add it to the bowl.
  6. Marinate the chicken well.
  7. Cover and set aside for at least 6 hours. If you try to reduce the marination time, then the chicken will not turn soft and juicy .

Making of TANDOORI CHICKEN

  1. Preheat the oven at 240 C for at least 15 mins.
  2. Place a foil on the tray. Next grease it.
  3. Now place the chicken pieces over the foil, and place a tray under it to hold the drippings.
  4. Grill the chicken for about 15 minutes.
  5. Mix together 1 tsp red chili powder with 1 tbsp oil.
  6. Then baste the red chili oil over the chicken. grill for 5 minutes.
  7. Flip the chicken to the other side and baste the red chili oil.
  8. Grill for another 6 to 10 minutes.
  9. The last 5 minutes, you can move it to the top most track. this gives the charred look,. you can also burn a  a char coal piece and place it  in a small cup.
  10. Keep that in the chicken tray. cover with a large utensil.  Cover with a large utensil. Allow it to smoke for 5-7 minutes.
  11. 5-STAR TANDOORI CHICKEN ready to serve and taste....

KADAI CHICKEN | 5-STAR RECIPE

Chicken Kadai is a famous recipe also known as Chicken KARAHI or GHOST KARAHI[ when prepared with goat or lamb], and is  a dish from south Indian subcontinent noted for its soicy taste, and is notable in Pakistan and north Indian cuisine....
